JPCL Scholarship

Jasper Park Community League (JPCL) is proud to offer a scholarship to help fund post-secondary education.

Resident within the boundaries of Jasper Park 87-92 avenue and 149-156 street for at least two (2) consecutive years. Verification of address required.
Minimum ten (10) hours of Jasper Park community league volunteer service and/or has otherwise demonstrated their commitment to serving the Jasper Park Community. Letters supporting your efforts are recommended.
Copy of acceptance letter to an accredited post-secondary institution, including your address. Must be included with application form.

Submissions are accepted starting May thru end of August for evaluation and award by the end of the following November.
Verification of residence within Jasper Park community boundaries shall be verified using the address listed on their government issued identification, drivers license, a bill, bank statement, mailing address on letter acceptance, or other that validates they have resided in Jasper Park for at least 2 years.
Children of Board members are eligible to apply for the scholarship, but those Board members must abstain from voting - this applies to any other family members that may be on the Board.
The maximum individual scholarship value is $1000.00.
Two (2) scholarships are available for award each year. However, the Board has the discretion to increase or decrease the number of scholarships available depending on the number of qualified applicants and budget available.
An individual may apply at any time before or during their post-secondary education, regardless which year of studies they are completing (e.g., 1st year, 2nd year).
Scholarships may be awarded to the same individual in different application years, but only if the minimum two (2) scholarships have not been awarded to new applicants.
